Shenzhen North Station is Shenzhen’s largest, most fully connected, and technologically advanced railway hub, handling the highest passenger volume in the city. Faced with such immense transport pressure, its Safety Production Command Center, as the most powerful brain for transport operations, must handle transport organization, emergency response, and resource allocation. However, the original dispatch command center could no longer meet the growing demands. Therefore, itc collaborates with the Shenzhen North Railway Station Safety Production Command Center to build a reliable, advanced, and fully functional modern platform.

On October 1, 2025, Shenzhen North ran 1,500 trains in a single day, with an average of one train arriving or departing every 90 seconds during peak hours, producing a single-day peak of 397,000 passengers. With 4K/8K capable resolution, ultra-wide 178° viewing angles, and a million-level contrast ratio, the screen presents live monitoring of waiting areas, platforms, and train movements. Its high refresh and wide color gamut ensure clear, detailed imagery even under strong lighting, providing dispatchers with high-definition visual support for efficient operation.

Through a visual management platform, itc LED display can seamlessly integrate all video surveillance signals from Shenzhen North Station, unifying data, such as train operations, passenger flow dynamics, and operational status. Dispatchers can grasp key information like passenger flow distribution and train arrival/departure intervals in real-time, providing data support for precise scheduling and further enhancing station operational efficiency.

Precise Sound Transmission

To ensure the clarity and fluency of on-site leadership instructions, the Shenzhen North Station Command Center is equipped with itc ceiling speakers to provide even sound coverage and reduce reflections. Their high-fidelity sound quality ensures commands reach every corner so staff can respond accurately. This significantly improves instruction delivery efficiency, especially during peak scenarios with simultaneous train boarding.

itc also deployed a professional railway PA system across the station to improve on-the-ground order and emergency response. The system delivers targeted, high-efficiency voice announcements with intuitive operation, supporting the station's smart, coordinated broadcast ecosystem.

itc self-developed railway PA system is designed according to standards such as the Metro Digital PA System Technical Specification (T/GDAQI 044—2020). It uses itc's proprietary Z-DT network audio transport technology, delivering professional audio quality with ultra-low end-to-end latency (5 ms). The system supports flexible audio services, such as voice announcements and background music, and integrates easily with third-party systems. Expert evaluation has recognized itc's long-distance, low-latency audio transmission as meeting international advanced levels, marking an important milestone for itc in rail transit applications.

On routine operations, the PA system supports voice announcements for relevant boarding information, such as arrivals/departures, transfer guidance, timetable updates, and delay notices. In emergencies, it issues alarms and pushes notifications to the OCC (Operations Control Center), can automatically switch to emergency mode, and enable disaster-response broadcasting to guide passengers, minimizing accidents and improving emergency response capabilities.

The system integrates with ISCS (integrated supervisory control system), clock system, wireless system, disaster response system, and recording platform, enabling efficient interconnection among line control centers, stations, depots, and parking lots. This interoperability ensures accurate, timely, and stable voice broadcast services, providing reliable technical support for safe and efficient rail operations.
